Editor-In-Chief of The Siren Feminist Magazine

My position at the Women’s Center allowed me to manage and design The Siren Magazine, the only student-led feminist magazine at the University of Oregon. I worked for two years building four magazines that revolutionized the aesthetic, amplified and pushed the boundaries of agency and bodily autonomy and centered historically underrepresented voices.

Working with Contributors made my time at The Siren possible

I worked with hundreds of people who contributed their artwork, words and expressions of intersectional feminism to build each issue of the magazine. I managed to communicate with all Contributors and answered all inquires as well as complaints and concerns. Making connections with Contributors allowed me to use The Siren as a platform to tell stories from all people.

The magazine reached hundreds to thousands of followers and non-followers through campaigns I created on Instagram that shared contributor’s work, advertised upcoming magazines, promoted Women's Center programs and curated to fit The Siren’s mission of sharing knowledge and stories.

One of my favorite jobs was to fill The Siren box on campus with magazines for people to read and enjoy:
